Our students are supported through their early primary years (Prep – 2) to access, navigate and actively participate in the study of digital technologies through a range of school owned resources such as iPads, Lego robotics and Blue Bots. Skills are developed in safe digital online spaces, learning apps and through investigation and inquiry with physical robotics. These technologies are carefully chosen to enhance our curriculum programs and provide an engaging format for learning.
In 2024, our Year 3 & 4 students joined our Year 5-9 students as part of our BYOD program. Students will continue to broaden their understanding and skills within online and offline digital spaces and software. The curriculum and teaching focuses on leveraging technology to safely collaborate and students will be explicitly taught how they can use digital yarning circles to share and build understanding and propose and defend arguments.
